Trademark & Brand Guidelines

Last Updated: August 15, 2026 • Maintained by Nuratix LLC (https://nuratix.com)

1. Purpose of Trademark Policy

NextViper is an open-source programming language licensed under Apache 2.0 and maintained by Nuratix LLC. While the Apache 2.0 license grants broad freedom to study, modify, and redistribute the source code, it explicitly does not grant trademark rights to use the names, logos, or branding of Nuratix LLC or NextViper.

This policy ensures that developers, companies, and users can rely on the authenticity, security, and quality of official NextViper distributions.

2. Permitted vs. Prohibited Uses

Permitted Use

  • Referring truthfully to the NextViper programming language in articles, tutorials, books, and courses.
  • Describing your software as "written in NextViper" or "for NextViper".
  • Creating community user groups (e.g. "NextViper Developers NYC").
  • Linking directly to official NextViper websites and documentation.

Prohibited Use

  • Using "NextViper" as part of your company name, commercial product name, or trademark.
  • Modifying the compiler and distributing it as "Official NextViper" without clear distinction.
  • Using NextViper logos in a manner that falsely implies official certification or endorsement.
  • Registering confusingly similar domain names.
